Products/02 Signal Ops

Server-side tracking that keeps every purchase

We move your tracking to a server on your own subdomain, send every purchase and lead straight from your store or CRM, and keep it all healthy month after month. Your ad platforms see more buyers and learn faster.

Setup in about three weeks. Then a monthly plan for monitoring and updates.

Each purchase takes two paths
A
Browser → your server
Page views, cart, checkout and purchase, via sst.yourbrand.com
B
Backend → your server
Every order or lead by webhook, even if the browser was blocked
=
One purchase, counted once
Matched by order ID, then sent to every platform
How it's built

Your data, your subdomain, your server.

Browsers send events to a server you own instead of straight to Google and Meta. The server cleans, enriches and forwards them. Your store or CRM sends every order and lead by webhook as a backup path.

Before and after

What changes for your ad platforms.

Browser pixels only

  • Ad blockers stop pixels on third-party domains
  • Safari deletes script-set cookies after 7 days
  • Purchases vanish when PayPal, Klarna or another payment redirect breaks the session
  • Pixel and API double-count the same sale
  • Platforms get little to match a buyer to a click

With Signal Ops

  • Requests go to your own subdomain, not to ad networks
  • Cookies set by your server on your domain last longer
  • Every order and lead also arrives from your backend by webhook
  • One event ID per order, so each sale counts once
  • Hashed email and click IDs on every purchase

Purchases each platform receives, per 1,000 orders

Visitors who decline cookies stay declined. Consent Mode v2 sends cookieless signals and Google models the rest. We never work around consent.

Timeline

Live in about three weeks.

One proven plan for every store, adjusted to your platforms and consent setup.

Week 1
Plan and infrastructure

Event plan, server container on Stape, your subdomain via one DNS record, consent banner review.

Week 2
Browser and server tags

Site and checkout tags, GA4, Google Ads with Enhanced Conversions, Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API, order or lead webhook.

Week 3
QA against real data

Deduplication, event match quality, consent checks, side-by-side counts with your real orders or CRM leads.

Every month

Questions

Before you ask.

Will Google Ads match my real numbers after this?

No, and nobody honest will promise that. Platforms still attribute by their own models. What changes is that every purchase reaches them with the IDs they need, so they can attribute and learn from far more of your real sales.

Does server-side tracking get around consent?

No. Consent decisions travel with every event and the server respects them. For the EU we set up Consent Mode v2, so declined visits send cookieless signals instead of nothing.

Which platforms do you support?

Any ecommerce platform or custom stack that can send order webhooks, and lead-gen sites with a CRM such as HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce. For leads, the second path is your CRM sending qualified leads back to the platforms.

What does the server cost?

Hosting runs on your own Stape account, so you own it and pay the provider directly. For most stores that is a small monthly fee next to the ad budget it protects.

Can my agency keep running the ads?

Yes. Signal Ops only touches tracking. Your agency gets cleaner data and documentation of what we built.

Next step

Measure the leak, then fix it.

Most clients start with a free Signal Check, so we know exactly what to build.

Saint products

Find the leak. Fix it. Grow on clean data.

Each product works on its own. Together they run in this order.
