Products/01 Signal Check

Find the conversions your ads never see

We compare your real orders or leads with the conversion events Google, Meta, TikTok and GA4 actually receive. You get the gap, what it costs you, and a fix list ranked by money.

Express scan is free and needs no access. Send your store URL, get a summary within 48 hours.

Loss, not attribution

We don't compare apples to oranges.

Platform numbers will never match your real orders, and they shouldn't: every platform credits sales by its own model and window. So we split the gap into three questions. Only the first two are losses you can fix.

Example: Meta, 30 days

−180

−130

bought without a Meta ad. Attribution. Normal, compared like-for-like, not "fixed".

What the gap costs

Algorithms optimize on what they see.

If Meta only sees 72% of your buyers, it learns from a smaller, skewed sample. It bids on the wrong people and reports a worse ROAS than you really have. Then budgets move away from campaigns that work.

  • Smart bidding and Advantage+ get less data and learn slower
  • Lookalikes and retargeting are built from incomplete buyer lists
  • Reported ROAS looks worse than reality, so good campaigns get cut

Where signal leaks

Six places we check first.

Most stores lose signal in the same few spots. The scan tests each one on your live store.

leak_01

Cookie banner

No Consent Mode v2, or tags that stay silent after a decline instead of sending cookieless pings.

leak_02

Ad blockers

Browser pixels on third-party domains get blocked before they ever fire.

leak_03

Safari limits

Script-set cookies expire after 7 days, so a buyer who returns on day 10 looks brand new.

leak_04

Checkout redirects

PayPal, Klarna and other payment redirects break the session and lose the click ID.

leak_05

Thank-you page

Old confirmation-page scripts your platform no longer runs, or a purchase or lead tag that fires only sometimes.

leak_06

Duplicates

Pixel and Conversions API both send the sale without a shared event ID, so it counts twice.

Questions

Asked by people who know tracking.

Isn't the difference just attribution?

Partly, and we treat that part as normal. Google Ads will never show all of your orders, because it only credits sales to its own clicks, by its own model and window.

That's why we don't compare attributed conversions to orders. We measure how many purchases each platform actually received, and how many arrived with the IDs it needs to match them to a click. That gap is signal loss, and it's fixable. Attribution we only compare like-for-like: same window, same date basis.

Do you need my passwords?

No. For the free scan we need nothing but your URL. For the full check you invite us as a read-only user in each platform, and you can remove us any time.

What about GDPR and customer data?

We work with aggregated counts: orders, events and match rates per day. No customer lists leave your systems. We sign a data processing agreement before we get access.

Which platforms do you support?

Any ecommerce platform or custom stack. For lead generation we compare leads in your CRM, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce, with the lead events each platform received.

What happens after the report?

The fix list is yours. Hand it to your developer or agency, or let us do it with Signal Ops. If you continue with us within 30 days, the fee for the full check is credited to the setup.
